NO YOUTH EVER CHOOSES TO BE HOMELESS

Directions Youth Services (a division of Family Services of Greater Vancouver) offers low-barrier programs and services to support youth under the age of 25 who are in crisis or experiencing homelessness as a result of abuse, neglect, substance use, or mental health challenges. We welcome and serve all youth.

Your support helps nearly 1000 youth per year to find safety from the streets, eat hot meals, receive medical care, find long-term housing supports, access detox, and much more.

Together, we can support Vancouver's most vulnerable youth so they are empowered to take the steps to build the lives they want.

Youth Detox

Youth Detox is a comfortable, home-like place for youth to rest and access kind, non-judgmental medical support for addictions, trauma, and other issues. Detox is a completely confidential, voluntary program and youth may arrive or leave at any time.

I really liked the kindness and support given by the staff. The staff actually seems to care about your problems and you getting clean. The food is good and I like how it feels as if you were at home.

About Family Services of Greater Vancouver

Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV) supports thousands of people living in crisis, poverty, isolation, or with trauma. Since 1928, our over 50 programs at 14 locations across the Lower Mainland help individuals, children and families people build resiliency, develop skills and knowledge, and gain the confidence to make positive changes in their lives.

Your support directly helps people in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, Surrey, Richmond, and Langley. Together, we can help build stronger families; end violence against women, children and seniors; support homeless youth; and build more inclusive communities for everyone.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROUS SUPPORT
